As Umbraco certified developers we have been keeping a keen eye on the upcoming release of Umbraco V5 which we're all sure is going to be another fantastic release.

The news that V5 will move from XSLT to Razor is a welcome one for us, whilst we like XSLT it was a little heavy on the number of code lines and our experience with Razor is excellent as our favourite blogging platform (blogengine.net) has moved to Razor as has NopCommerce.

The web team has had a busy month working on our latest website development for Turnbull McCarron solicitors. We've opted for our umbraco cms and are in the final stages of getting the site live. We'll post a news item as soon as it's live but in the meantime here is a wee sneak preview...

The Lateralliners have migrated some of our web hosting from dedicated servers to cloud and virtual private servers, so far we are well impressed.  They can come in any shape, size and spec and well worth having a look at from a cost perspective, contact us if you would like to know more.

The fixtures for season 2011/12 have been announced, with Clydesdale Bank Premier League newcomers Dunfermline Athletic facing St Mirren at home in their first game back in Scottish football’s top flight.
